Would you like to be happier this year than last?
More at peace with those around you?
Try this one thing.
I can testify -- based on my own decision to make this one change in the way I approach those around me -- that you'll reap big benefits. I've been much happier even though I've derailed a few times. And some of those derailments have been pretty public!
Anyway, are you ready to create a more fulfilling year?
Then do this one thing:
Stop using yourself as the measure by which you judge others.
It's a simple concept, but the execution can be challenging because we humans tend to judge the actions and attitudes of others based on our own norms, rather than by a more objective measure.
"Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone driving faster is a maniac?"
Believe me, if you stop judging others based on your own measure, you will find yourself to be happier this year.
Not only will you be happier, but you will actually grow in your love and appreciation for others.
And that's a good thing.
